A 1940s style day or afternoon dress with shawl collar and deep V-neckline. Center front and center back seams from neck to hem. No seam at the waist. Outside darts in the front and back blouse radiate in a deep V from the center seams. The same dart treatment is repeated at the hips. Plain long fitted sleeves or bracelet length sleeves with outside darts at the front lower edge.
